Kathleen Rake is one lucky oenophile. She's managed to marry her decades-long love affair with all things vinic to her craft—writing.

Dubbed the Queen of Clear, Clean, and Clever by her writing peers, Kathleen, founder of Click Media Works, is a plain-language practitioner who truly believes that good writing is the cornerstone of effective communication, especially in this drive-through hyperlink age.

Kathleen brings more than 15 years of professional writing and editing experience to your project. She writes for magazines, newspapers, industry, government, non-profit, small business, and the web and is a member of the Professional Writers Association of Canada. Kathleen holds the WSET Advanced Certificate in Wines & Spirits (Level 3) and is currently working toward achieving her diploma.

Wine Samples Policy

Kathleen reserves the right to write...or not.

Yes, Kathleen accepts wine samples. And she may even write about the wine you send. Then again, she may not. Please be aware that if she does write about the sample you send, you may not like what you read. That's the nature of the beast.

Kathleen doesn't typically rate wines and she's not known for her cutting criticism; instead, she prefers to approach things with an open mind and palate, finding what joy there is in any glass so she can share that with her readers.

If you are willing to send her a sample, she's willing to taste it. Kathleen can't, however, promise you she'll write about it.
