With the main course, we each had a glass of the 2009 Firesteed Pinot Noir from Oregon, which stood up nicely to the steak and complemented the medley of mushrooms we had in place of the scallops and prawns.
I am told that River's Edge is working toward building more B.C. wines into its list. I look forward to that.
