Walking into the fabulous new facilities at the Vancouver Convention Centre, where just a short while ago, media from around the globe set up shop to comment on our 2010 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, this sign says it all...
The wine world certainly is here; in fact, according to the Playhouse Wine Fest literature, 196 wineries from 14 countries have brought some 1,700 wines for us to taste. That's a lot of grape juice.
While the world is well represented, the stars of the show this year are New Zealand and Argentinian wines, along with a global focus on rosé.
