June 22, 2011 (Vancouver, BC) – Wine lovers have a new reason to raise a glass to the Stewart family's Quails' Gate: the Okanagan winery’s Pinot Gris has just been awarded Double Gold at the prestigious San Francisco International Wine Competition. The winning wine will be available exclusively at the winery over the summer.
2011 marked the 31st anniversary for the San Francisco International Wine Competition, the largest and most respected international competition in the United States. In addition to the Pinot Gris Double Gold, six other Quails’ Gate wines were awarded bronze and silver medals by a panel of judges.
