Here is my column as it appeared in the May 17 issue of My City, a monthly magazine in the Abbotsford News.
B.C. is broken into five distinct wine regions called Designated Viticultural Areas, or DVAs: Fraser Valley, Okanagan Valley, Similkameen Valley, Vancouver Island and Gulf Islands. The wine from each of these regions reflects its own unique geography. DVAs are then broken into sub-regions that reflect even more unique qualities within the wine. Read more...
