BC’s Summerhill Pyramid Winery has been short-listed by The Drinks Business as a candidate for Green Company of the Year 2012 because of their work as a hub of the organic-wine industry in Canada.
About the Awards:
The Drinks Business Green Awards 2012 is the world’s largest program to raise awareness of green issues in the drinks trade and recognize and reward those who are leading the way in sustainability and environmental performance.
Drink Business is arguably Europe’s leading drinks trade publication, so it is a huge compliment to the relentless efforts made at Summerhill to maintain their sustainable, organic, and soon-to-be-certified biodynamic practices that they are short-listed among wineries from all over the world.
Wineries on the short list have been selected for their exemplary environmental credentials, and the winners will be announced at a ceremony in London, England on March 26. Read more about the awards and the other nominees here.
